Semi-permanent mascara is a flexible lash coating with a similar effect to that of mascara but with more power. Treatment can be applied to both lashes, upper and lower, with a tough coating allowing for smudge and waterproof wear that can last between 2-3 weeks. The treatment takes around 30 minutes.

One week later

Lashes are lesser in thickness but appears like they’ve been tempered with mascara recently. In the first couple of days, lashes feel a bit tight, and eyes might feel a bit dry, like when you leave mascara on overnight and your lashes go all frail.

Any eye cream can be applied under the eyes and on lids to ease the dryness.

You will get sensation quickly and resist the temptation to fiddle with the lashes.

Like any other beautifying treatment, semi-permanent mascara treatment has plenty of contraindications as well. firstly, a person undergoing the semi-permanent mascara session must take off contact lenses. Secondly, it is not advised to undergo the treatment if one suffers from some skin or eye illnesses such as excessive eyelash loss, chemotherapy, allergies, bacterial infections, hair pulling disorder, pink eye, cataract, or glaucoma.
