Ombre Brows
Ombré brows, also called powder brows, is a cosmetic tattoo technique that blends pigment into the skin, creating a gradient effect from the brow's start to its end. The shading begins lighter at the head of the eyebrow and gradually darkens toward the tail, providing enhanced definition. The treatment typically lasts around 2 years, but individual results may vary based on skin type, condition, sun exposure, and reactions to the tattoo pigment.

Microblading
Eyebrow Microblading, also known as eyebrow feathering or ‘feather stroke tattooing’ is a growing area of eyebrow styling. It is a semi permanent technique using a hand tool as opposed to more common cosmetic tattooing. The hand tool results in strokes that are incredibly fine, producing a realistic hair effect with a natural look. Microblading will last up to 2 years, with touch ups throughout to maintain the look.

Eyebrow Tattoo – Pre and Post Treatment Care
Prior to Eyebrow Tattoo treatment
- Prior to your semi-permanent cosmetic enhancement think about the look you would like to achieve. Cosmetic enhancements normally require multiple application sessions. To achieve the best results you will be required to return for at least one additional enhancement 4 to 6 weeks after the initial application. It is the client’s responsibility to make this appointment. If the client comes for a touch-up after 6 weeks additional fees may apply.
- Be prepared for the color intensity to be significantly sharper and darker immediately after the procedure. This will subside and become softer as the skin heals. This process can take up to 14 days.
- Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Ibuprofen, Omega 3 or Fish Oil Supplements at least 3 days prior to and after your procedure. Tylenol is safe to take if needed.
- Do not discontinue any medication before consulting your doctor.
- Keep alcohol intake to a minimum 2 days prior to and after your procedure. If you can avoid all together that is ideal.
- Do not use Retin A or anti-aging skincare products close to the enhancement site 1 week prior to or after your procedure.
- Do not use AHA skincare products close to the enhancement area 1 week prior to or after your procedure.
- As with electrolysis the National Blood Service does not accept donations of blood for 1 year after a cosmetic enhancement.
- Do not wear cosmetic/contact Lens on the day of your treatment.
- Kindly have a Hair wash prior to treatment, as Hair wash needs to be avoided for 7 days after treatment.
Aftercare for Eyebrow Tattoos
Kindly consult with a healthcare provider at first sign of infection.
Following the seven days
- Avoid wetting your eyebrows in the shower and when washing your face.
- Apply a very thin layer of Skin Candy with a clean Q-tip, avoid using your fingers.
- Repeat the above process 3-5 times a day to keep the wound clean and avoid scab formation.
THINGS TO AVOID DURING HEALING
First Seven Days
- Do not pick, scratch, or peel the healing area
- Do not apply any make-up or products on eyebrows
- Avoid sleeping on the face
- Avoid direct sun exposure
- Avoid working out to prevent sweating
- Avoid water on eyebrows during shower for at least 7 days or until healed
- Avoid facial massage, facial steaming, and sauna
In The Next 30 Days
- Avoid sunbathing, solarium, light therapies, chemical peelings, fruit acids, microdermabrasion, and creams that contain regeneration factors.
- Always avoid laser treatments over the treated area because they can destroy the pigment and cause burns.
- Use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to faster pigment fading.

In general, permanent makeup stays for years. The intensity of your permanent makeup fades in the course of time. However, it completely depends on person to person. This is partly due to the natural cell renewal, the immune system, and the influence of UV light.
Before we start with application, the shape will be drawn, and your consent is taken to go ahead. Together with your O’some Brows professional, you can choose the colour that suits you best. Only when everything is to your complete satisfaction, the pigmentation procedure begins. You can get it removed by a professional if you wish to remove it immediately.
Generally, it takes about 1½ to 2 hours, including the consultation, drawing the shape, colour choice and pigmentation procedure.
Depending on the kind of eyebrow tattoo treatment you opt for, results can last for as long as 2 to 2.5 years. The pigment used for Nano feathering and other types of eyebrow tattoo techniques is semi-permanent, so it fades slowly over time. For the best results, an additional enhancement (i.e. a second appointment) is required in six weeks approx. after the initial application to increase longevity. It’s important to note that results can also vary depending on your skin tone and the depth/colour of the pigment used.
